Frankly, I am quite disappointed with the results of the midterm examination and your participation in the class blog. To give you a chance to improve your grades, I will be giving short quizzes through the blog. Submit your printed answers in the next meeting.
In the hope of stimulating an on-line discussion, I will be distributing some provocative “hand outs” in the blog and invite you to react (also in the blog) by posting a comment in the article that you are reacting to. The first is an article by a Nobel laureate and famous professor of economics, Joseph Stiglitz, on the current global economic crisis. Raise questions and/or write a short reaction paper on the Stiglitz article.
